Worry Box

DO NOW: Complete Worry Box.

We want to focus on one thing only here: if you imagine yourself doing THE OPPOSITE of each of the behaviors you listed in column 2, what would be scary/yucky/troubling/distressing about that?

Example: If our Doing/Not Doing is I don't speak up. I lower my head. I smile and just agree. I say yes to work I should say no to. I don't defend my department, The worry box might look like this: I worry that when i speak up I'll sound stupid. I worry if I don't smile and agree I won't look like a team player. I worry that if I say no to work, I'll look like I'm not dependable.

We are intentionally taking the behavior of column two and imagining ourselves doing the opposite, then writing down the worries and fears that come to mind. These are the things we normally would not say out loud. As we think them we can feel the fear or worry in our stomach.
